Hi! I’m Barru!
I’m a contemporary, interdisciplinary artist working mainly in oil pastels, acrylic paint, UV-reactive fluorescent paint, and collage. I make abstract and stylized portraits that tap into the subconscious, giving form to unseen internal worlds and emotions.
As a recent graduate of OCAD University’s Drawing & Painting program, I’m excited to connect with fellow creatives, curators, and galleries across Toronto and the GTA. I am eager to expand my practice through gallery representation and artist residencies.
